I am a nationally and internationally recognised award-winning Audiovestibular Consultant Physician & Neuro-otologist, based in London. I am a highly trained and experienced Medical Doctor, who specialises exclusively in dizziness, vertigo, balance disorders, tinnitus & hearing loss. With fewer than 40 NHS consultants in audiovestibular medicine across England, this is a genuinely rare specialism – and one I am deeply passionate about.

I hold a substantive NHS Consultant post at Epsom & St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust, where I run a busy clinic covering all areas of audiovestibular medicine in both adults and children. Alongside my NHS role, I offer comprehensive private consultations at clinics across London, including Harley Street. My reputation for achieving excellent patient outcomes has led to patients seeking my care from across the UK and from overseas.

I work in partnership with my patients, offering extended 45–60 minute consultations to ensure everyone receives the time and attention they deserve. My approach is thorough, holistic and always patient-centred: I listen carefully, investigate comprehensively, explain clearly, and ensure you leave with a proper understanding of your diagnosis and a clear plan for treatment.

Training & Qualifications

After studying medicine at University College London, I completed Foundation and then Core Medical Training, before specialising in Audiovestibular Medicine within the Pan-London training programme. I had the privilege and benefit of training at some of the UK’s leading and internationally recognised institutes, including St George’s Hospital, the Royal National Throat Nose & Ear Hospital, The Nuffield Hearing & Speech Centre and Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children – providing me with unique insights into even the most challenging conditions.

I am a member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) and the British Association of Audiovestibular Physicians (BAAP). I was awarded a Distinction in the Postgraduate Certificate in Otology & Audiology from the world-renowned UCL Ear Institute. I have presented at national meetings and conferences, and have been published in peer-reviewed journals.

I have been fortunate to receive recognition from both my specialist peers and from independent national award bodies, including:

• Consultant Audiovestibular Physician of the Year 2025/26 – Prestige Awards
• The Pat Jobson Prize 2020 – British Association of Audiovestibular Physicians, awarded for services to Audiovestibular Medicine. I was extremely honoured to be recognised by my specialist peers with this highly prestigious award.

Medico-Legal Expert Witness Work

I also accept instructions as a medico-legal expert witness in audiovestibular medicine, providing detailed independent reports for personal injury cases involving dizziness, vertigo, balance disorders, tinnitus and hearing loss. My reports draw on extensive clinical experience, a thorough understanding of the relevant medical literature, and the same diagnostic rigour I apply in my clinical practice. I am compliant with CPR Part 35 and hold appropriate medico-legal training.

Teaching, Education & Giving Back

I am passionate about training the next generation of doctors. Alongside regularly teaching medical students in my outpatient clinics, I deliver the formal lecture on Dizziness, Vertigo and Imbalance at St George’s University of London Medical School.

I am committed to improving healthcare provision for patients with dizziness, vertigo, balance disorders, hearing loss and tinnitus – both within the NHS and beyond. I am currently developing a free educational resource for GPs and doctors working in acute medicine, to help them better recognise, assess and manage these conditions. I am always happy to provide educational sessions to other healthcare professionals.

I also produce educational healthcare content for social media, with the aim of providing accessible, medically accurate information that empowers patients to better understand and manage their conditions.
